The Challenge
Green Horizons Realty Group wanted to differentiate their 24-unit apartment complex in a competitive California rental market. Common area electricity costs were rising, and prospective tenants increasingly asked about sustainability features and EV charging availability. The property required upgrades that would appeal to eco-conscious renters while reducing operating expenses.
Solution
We installed a 15kW rooftop solar system with 30 high-efficiency panels on the clubhouse and carport structures. The system includes 15kWh battery storage for common area backup power and 3 Level 2 EV charging stations available to residents. The solar system powers all shared amenities, including lighting, the pool pump, the laundry room, and the security systems.
